What were about

In the last year or so, South London has established itself as a new frontier for lovers of good music and late nights, with the likes of Matter, Corsica Studios and The Arches pushing things forward.

In the last ten years Plan B (which has been closed since May 2009 following a fire) has become something of an institution, hosting legendary parties with the likes of A-Trak, Andy C, Basement Jaxx, Bugz in the Attic, Chase & Status, Gilles Peterson, Goldie, Hot Chip, Skream, The Streets, Laidback Luke, Mark Ronson and DJ Yoda.

Rising like a phoenix from the ashes, we are currently working with some of the UKs best architects and lighting designers on a new blueprint for the space, with work starting in the next few weeks and a relaunch planned for later in the year. The club has always had an impressive Funktion One soundsystem (just ask any of the DJs who have played here) but we are installing a system twice as powerful (full technical spec to follow), ensuring that from dubstep to live performances, the sound will be on a par with the best systems in the world.

We are increasing the capacity to around 600 people, which combined with a 24 hour licence, will ensure Plan B is a true destination venue.
